This seemed like a good idea, but not enough people agreed to make it happen. Some things we in NoVA think are cool just don't translate to the rest of the world. I think it's something in the Potomack River water we drink.

Here's an ace idea! Wouldn't it be cool to have your bike on a real playing card? Well, now you can! What we need is 54 people (one for each card in the deck, including the two jokers - you know who you are) to contribute $25 and a photo of him or herself with his/her British Motorcycle. Everyone who gets in on the deal will get 2 decks of cards (more can be purchased, if desired). Each will come in a nice window box.

The layout of the "face" sides would have you and your British bike, with a couple lines of text (got a website or a business to promote?). The backs would feature the VBMC logo on a black background. If you've already claimed your card, send me your pic, and I'll post it here. Once we get close to the 54 subscribers, I'll start collecting money. Don't send any money yet.

If two people request the same card, the one whose email I receive first will get it. No whining, no crying, and no bribery. The deal will remain open until we get the required 54 subscribers. Since actual cost depends on shipping, which will vary with distance, any profits made will go to the VBMC "rainy day" fund.
